The Africa Association of Entrepreneurs (AAE) is a volunteer-run organisation. Volunteers are located throughout globe and work is coordinated by a head office in Ghana, lead volunteers and a network of national teams. AAE volunteers mainly work virtually, making use of online collaboration tools to support each other and other SMEs. However, national teams sometimes also offer in-person support services.
Volunteer serve at their own pace and service commitments are flexible. Task can be undertaken whenever volunteers are available, and not heavily impacting reqular schedules.
What is the terms of reference for AAE facilitated volunteers-member collaborations?
AAE-facilitated Volunteer-Member collaborations are for remote or online assistance and does not require physical presence at the office of the member. This connection is for charitable cause only and so volunteers serve on pro-bono basis
Volunteer may communicate directly with members and may share the results of collaboration with AAE at the end, in order to be issued a letter of appreciation
Facilicated collaborations are for a period of 4 weeks only or at the resolution of an assigned task, whichever comes first.
UNV volunteers serving, who applied to the AAE-UNV “coach our youth…” task will be issued with a Certificate of Appreciation from UNV on feedback of the AAE to UNV
Is there compensation for online volunteering work?
There are currently no monetary compensation for volunteer time or services done online. Served or active volunteers will be issued Reference or Appreciation Letters. AAE is forever grateful to volunteers for their contribution without which it would be difficult to continue our work.

Volunteer Leads are are middle management supervisors and visionaries who take up supervisory roles on innovative AAE activities and projects. The ideas of our volunteers count in ensuring that we explore ways of addressing the needs and provide valuable support to our community.
What is the AAE Leadership Team?
The AAE Team is comprised of head office volunteers (Cornelius Nartey, Daniel Lartey), Volunteer Leads (Lisa Samson, USA, Nicola Ball, Uganda, Winnifred Acheampong, Ghana, Lim Wenyao, Germany, Daëlle G. ISRAËL, Haiti) and National Project Leads.

Aristide Ngalibali est un blogueur né et ayant grandi à Pointe-Noire au Congo Brazzaville. Il rejoint la capitale ʺBrazzavilleʺ pour les études supérieures à l’Université Marien Ngouabi en 2018. Son entrée dans le monde du blog et de la rédaction d’article remonte à 5 années. À cette époque, il couvrait les activités des mouvements d’étudiants au sein de la Faculté des Lettres, des Arts et des Sciences Humaines (FLASH), au sein de laquelle il était étudiant. En 2020, sa plume intéresse le manager de l’agence de mannequina Africa Angency Mode. C’est ainsi qu’il sera appelé à rédiger des articles sur ses mannequins. En 2021, Aristide satisfait à un test à l’UNICEF, qui lui donnera l’occasion d’être formé par les professionnels de cette agence onusienne et à son tour de former les autres blogueurs de l’agence. My name is Yannick Silva, and I have a diverse background in economics, management, and data analysis. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Southampton in the UK. During my studies, I gained practical experience in various domains, including energy efficiency, income data, banking, and fuel consumption, where I applied machine learning techniques such as logit models, K-means, cluster analysis, and dimension reduction models.
In addition to my data analysis skills, I am proficient in programming and have used Python for tasks such as data preprocessing, statistical analysis, algorithm selection, and model evaluation. I have also utilized Python to create various data visualizations, including word clouds, histograms, and heatmaps, which I have effectively presented in reports to non-technical management.
Excel has been a valuable tool in my finance-related work, where I have applied financial theories and concepts such as accounting, capital structure, investment policy, and bond and equity valuation. I have also conducted financial simulations, including Monte Carlo simulations, derivative modeling, and portfolio analysis.
During my internship at Banco da Africa Occidental (BAO), I gained experience in risk analysis and audit. I engaged with clients, assessed financial instruments, and effectively communicated with various departments to acquire necessary data. I also had responsibilities in compiling financial data, verifying credit dossiers, and participating in audit service missions.
As a co-founder and Vice President of the Institute for Global Health and Development (IGHD), I have developed strong skills in partnership management and business development. I have analyzed financial scopes, assessed risks, and contributed to proposal projects, such as the Women Entrepreneurship Change (WEChange) initiative. Additionally, I have been involved in preparing pitch decks for business accelerators/incubators.
