Introduction:
I am thrilled to join the AAE Awareness Team as a United Nations volunteer. With over nine years of experience in education and extensive work in community engagement, my background aligns closely with the goals of the AAE Awareness Team. My academic qualifications in Agricultural Education and Extension, paired with my leadership role in curriculum implementation, have given me a solid foundation in promoting sustainable and inclusive educational practices.
Objectives and Goals:
In this role, I aim to support the team’s objectives by creating awareness and engaging diverse communities in impactful dialogues on sustainable practices and climate resilience. I am particularly interested in applying my experience from the Youth Climate Innovation Programme with the Climate Technology Centre & Network (CTCN) to raise awareness on climate and environmental issues, focusing on how education can drive transformative change.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with fellow team members to plan and implement awareness campaigns.
2. Leverage my instructional design experience to create and adapt outreach materials that effectively communicate climate and sustainability topics.
3. Engage with local communities to foster understanding and action, using my bilingual skills to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps.
Expected Outcomes:
Through my participation, I hope to contribute to successful awareness initiatives that resonate on both local and global levels. My goal is to encourage more youth and educators to participate actively in climate-focused projects and to support the AAE Awareness Team in achieving its mission of promoting environmental responsibility.
