Comparison of Achieved Results

Despite promotional efforts, the results in terms of page views, forum interactions, new registrations, and donations fell short of the targets, with some exceptions. Page views were significantly lower than the goals, averaging around 50-70 views compared to the target of 1500-3000. Forum discussions were limited, with only one topic initiated per project and a low number of replies. However, one donation was received for the “Mentoring Program for African Entrepreneurs,” indicating concrete interest in this project.

Article Promotion Activities

To promote the articles related to the various projects, I used several strategies and channels:

  • Social Media: I shared the articles on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn. The best results in terms of views and interactions were achieved on X and LinkedIn.
  • Forums and Groups: I initiated discussions on Reddit, Telegram, and Threads to engage interested communities. These forums generated some conversations, especially on Telegram and WhatsApp.
  • Additional Articles: To maintain interest and diversify content, I also promoted the article “Learning to Manage Waste Sustainably,” which received positive feedback from young people in Telegram and WhatsApp groups.
  • Fundraising Campaign: I launched a fundraising campaign on Global Giving to support projects in Manila and Panama. The campaign increased the visibility of the articles, with one donation received for the mentoring program.

Results and Observations

Promotional activities have increased visibility and interaction, although the numbers were generally lower than expected. The mentoring program received a donation, highlighting interest in this project. The challenges faced in maintaining consistent interest present opportunities to refine and improve future promotional strategies.
