Final Narrative Report on Internship Activities

During my internship, I was tasked with managing the process of creating and publishing articles under the theme “Write Article on the African Business Environment 2025.” My responsibilities included selecting and onboarding authors, guiding them through the writing process, reviewing their work, and ensuring the final publication of their articles on the website. Below is a detailed account of my activities throughout this period.

Author Selection and Onboarding

I began by carefully selecting 15 potential authors from a pool of candidates. After identifying them, I reached out via email to conduct interviews and assess their suitability for the task. This involved evaluating their writing skills, understanding of the topic, and commitment to the project.

Communication and Guidance

Once the authors were onboarded, I maintained regular communication with them to address their questions and provide guidance throughout the writing process. This included clarifying the article requirements, ensuring adherence to the specified format, and offering feedback on their progress.

Article Review and Formatting

As the authors submitted their drafts, I meticulously reviewed each article to ensure it met the required standards. This involved checking for clarity, coherence, and adherence to the theme. I also ensured that the formatting was consistent and aligned with the guidelines provided.

Coordination with Reviewers

After completing my initial review, I forwarded the articles to the reviewers for further evaluation. I acted as a liaison between the authors and reviewers, addressing any feedback or revisions required to finalize the articles.

 Publication on the Website

Once the articles were finalized, I took responsibility for publishing them on the website. This included not only the articles from the authors I managed but also those sent to me by others. I ensured that each article was uploaded correctly and displayed properly on the platform.

Conclusion

Throughout this internship, I developed strong project management, communication, and editorial skills. I successfully managed the end-to-end process of article creation and publication, ensuring that all tasks were completed on time and to a high standard. This experience has been invaluable in enhancing my professional capabilities and understanding of collaborative work environments.
