After completing her studies in accounting at Oxford Brookes University, Patience Chivayo joined a prominent medical institution in Zimbabwe as an Accountant. Her role involved managing financial operations, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Over the course of 12 years, Chivayo gained valuable insights into the inner workings of healthcare organizations, witnessing firsthand the struggles faced by medical professionals and patients due to limited resources and infrastructure. She recognized the pressing need for innovative solutions to address the healthcare challenges in Zimbabwe and was determined to contribute in a more direct and impactful manner.Chivayo is now studying for a master's degree in forensic accounting and auditing with the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT).
