Ameer Alsamman is a Syrian-American political analyst, with expertise in International Law and Human Rights. Having grown up in post-9/11 America and experienced the Syrian Civil War, Ameer has allowed these experiences to lead him towards a career in diplomacy and human rights. He graduated with Merit from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, having pursued his Masters degree there in the aim of learning from the diverse environment of an internationalized metropolitan city. Ameer is currently working with the United Nations Department of Global Communications, where he focuses on communicating UN goals and values to the Middle East.
