Strategy Week Scheduled in August 4 -8, 2025

The AAE Strategy Week is a week-long online event, where AAE interns collaborate with entrepreneurs in applying the tools of business research for strategic planning and sustainability-driven measures, empowering businesses to make informed decisions, address challenges effectively, and seize opportunities for growth.

The next AAE Strategy Week is scheduled in August 4 -8, 2025. Priority for event collaboration will be given to AAE entrepreneurs with comprehensive and up-to-date profiles on themselves and their businesses. During these sessions, businesses from various industries will be assessed to identify general opportunities and threats, while exploring pathways for green business adaptations. The objective is to equip businesses with actionable strategies to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability.

Each year, interns engage in this strategic exercise, gaining invaluable insights into the business landscape while sharpening their analytical skills. This also help a business owner and potential supporter gain more insight and understanding into the context within which they operate. The Strategy Week occurs twice a year in February and August. Priority for event collaboration will be given to AAE entrepreneurs with comprehensive and up-to-date profiles on themselves and their businesses. The objective is to equip businesses with actionable strategies to enhance their competitiveness and sustainability.

 During these sessions, then interns assess businesses from various industries through one or more three sub-tasks options:

  • identify general opportunities and threats (SWOT);
  • pathways for green business adaptations; and
  • potential China-Africa project matchmaking opportunities.

The 2025 Strategy Week is being organised in collaboration with its AAE partner, Habour Education, an educational institution dedicated to fostering international communication and exchange. Based in the People’s Republic of China, Habour Education provides platforms for students, professors, institutions, and organisations to engage in meaningful dialogue and cooperation. AAE interns are exceptional students driven by a passion for voluntary service and positive global transformation.
